Mach7 Motorsports Unveils the 500HP Falcon

Ironically, the hush-hush debut of the striking 500HP Falcon by Mach7 Motorsports during the recently held Detroit Auto Show is in contrast with the car’s bold, daring, and loud over-all look and feel. But when you consider the fact that Mach7 Motorsports plans to manufacture around 15 units of the 500HP Falcon in a year, only then will you understand the reason for its quiet debut.
The 500HP Falcon’s body comes with a monocoque made with carbon fiber and a hydro-formed aluminum chassis. The car’s V8 Corvette LS3 engine boasts of a staggering 500 horsepower in its standard version. Of course, it wouldn’t be so hush-hush if Falcon would only carry the standard engine. Mach7 is offering an optional GM LS9 engine that is packed with 640 horsepower making it, indeed, a super car.
The 500HP Falcon model that was debuted during the Detroit Motor Show was still in its incomplete state, therefore no officials ratings in terms of performance have been reported. However, since Mach7 Motorsports is known as a tuning company for Vipers, they speculate that the Falcon would rake in numbers close to that of a Dodge model that clock cover 0.60 mph in 3.4 seconds with maximum speed at 202 mph.
The 500HP Falcon is said to curb weight that is close to almost 1293kg. The weight issue compliments the company’s speculation about the supposedly close ratings to the Dodge. The price tag of the striking Falcon has also been speculated closing to almost $200,000. The first few models are expected to be delivered during the last quarter of the year.
